Is our app owned by Newsmast, or by us?

Most importantly, all of your community’s data remains owned by your organisation, and you’re able to customise the app design and make key choices about function. The complete tech stack we provide –  a server, dashboard, social channels, plus integration with other apps, like WordPress and Ghost – is maintained by us in partnership with you; but parts or all of this can ultimately be transferred to you under an open source licence. So your data and IP will always be yours, but you can engage as much or as little as you like with maintaining, and owning, the back end.
