Child Safety Standard
Last updated September 24, 2026
These Child Safety Standards apply to all applications published by Newsmast on Google Play.
We are committed to keeping our services safe and to preventing the sexual exploitation and abuse of children. These standards set out our approach to Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE), including what is prohibited, how users can report concerns, and the actions we take when we become aware of inappropriate content or behaviour.
These standards are part of our wider policies, including our Terms and Conditions, Community Guidelines, Acceptable Use Policy and Community Guidelines.
1. PROHIBITED CONTENT AND BEHAVIOUR
We strictly prohibit Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) and any content or behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers children.
You must not use our services to create, upload, share, request, promote, distribute, or facilitate content or activities involving CSAE. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM)
- Grooming a child for sexual exploitation
- Sexualisation of minors
- Sextortion involving a child
- Trafficking or solicitation of a child for sexual purposes
- Any other behaviour that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers a child
- Removing prohibited content
- Restricting, suspending, or terminating accounts responsible for such content or behaviour
- Reporting confirmed CSAM or other illegal activity to the appropriate authorities where required by law
- Taking additional measures to prevent further harm
We do not allow content that glorifies, normalises, or provides instructions about CSAE, and we remove such content when we become aware of it.
2. REPORTING
Our applications provide users with in-app mechanisms to report content, accounts, or behaviour that may violate these standards.
We encourage all users to report any content or behaviour that may involve CSAE or put a child at risk. Reports can be made directly through the reporting tools available within our applications.
If you believe a child is in immediate danger, please also contact your local law enforcement agency or relevant authorities.
3. ENFORCEMENT ACTIONS
When we become aware of suspected CSAE or related content, we will take appropriate action in accordance with our policies and applicable laws. This may include:
4. COMPLIANCE WITH APPLICABLE LAWS
We comply with applicable child-safety laws and regulations and maintain processes for addressing reports involving CSAE and CSAM. We work with relevant authorities where required by law and cooperate with lawful requests in relation to child safety.
5. CHILD SAFETY CONTACT

6. CHANGES TO THESE STANDARDS
We may update these Child Safety Standards from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The latest version will always be available on this page and the “Last updated” date above will be revised.
